What is an MOT
MOT tests are mandatory vehicle tests that must be retaken every year to ensure the vehicle is safe to drive and in a roadworthy condition. In order to drive your vehicle legally, you must have a valid MOT, road tax and insurance on your vehicle. Failure to do so could result in fines and points on your licence. To check when your vehicles MOT will expire visit the GOV.UK/MOT EXPIRY website and enter your vehicle registration number.
What is tested in the MOT

Booking your MOT
At MOT Centre Services we have two ATL test lanes with the latest MOT test equipment. You can book a MOT test in advance and bring your vehicle in at the date and time given. Urgent MOT bookings are available usually within 10-45 minutes. For your convenience we offer out of hours MOT’s, to businesses and to customers, 7 days a week at no extra cost. MOT tests usually take, from 45 – 60 minutes to complete so you can leave your vehicle with us and we will call you after the vehicle has been tested. Alternatively, you can choose to wait in our well-furnished MOT viewing & waiting room, which is air conditioned for your upmost comfort. Whilst you wait you can enjoy free Wi-Fi, as well as a hot drink from our automated beverage machine, which is completely free of charge.
MOT failure and retest
If your vehicle fails the MOT test, we can carry out most repairs or you can fix it elsewhere.
